Wicked Dreams – The Cabin is the first in a set of horrific short stories which have been inspired by my own dreams. In essence these are definitely nightmares to be read only during the day if you are faint of heart. If you have a high horror tolerance read by yourself at midnight with a solitary light on. I will continue to share my fast paced shocking dreams with you. Most of the first series will be from when I was a child. That being said I have elevated some instances to intensify the experience. Some of these moments I feel like I cannot bring to the intensity I felt during the dream. I hope you enjoy “The Cabin” as it is one of the first full nightmares I remember fully from my childhood that truly terrified me and is still harsh even today. This short story revolves around eleven year old Savannah who goes to a cabin with her parents. The experience is awkward from the start as you feel as though Savannah and her parents don’t have a great connection in this book. This is very true to how I felt in the dream. I felt very close to the two family dogs, which I had as a child and the story of them was based on fact. The eerie feelings Savannah has in the beginning only touch the iceberg of the terror she feels one the sun goes down. A fast paced read sure to chill you wherever you read it. Enjoy.
