Today is the day of yet another one of Father’s parties. I used to love the gaudy sculptures and getting dressed up like a princess to impress his rich associates. That was until Maxon forced himself on me and paid Father to keep it under wraps. After “the incident” the parties became less about selling airplane parts and expensive cars and more about selling me. For the last six years, Mother and I have been unable to protect ourselves from the blatant misconduct of Father and his rich buddies. Now, Mother and I have a little secret. Once they see us for what we really are, they will never have the chance to harm us again.
