A sharp, stabbing pain overtakes my right thigh as they once again inject the poison in my system. My veins burn as the foreign drug streams through my blood. I try to fight, but the men holding me down are strong and unwilling to release me. There is no need to scream; these men are heartless and do not care about the pain that they are inflicting upon me. As soon as they are satisfied that there is not a drop of the drug left in the syringe the men rush out of the room. They are afraid and do not want to be anywhere near me once the toxins take effect. Years have passed and I am no closer to finding the cure for my child. The world is in turmoil as the disease continues to plague millions of people. The military that had caused the extinction of people is as they, extinct. For others that continue to live It is a fight for survival, but for me, I must find the cure for my baby; the "Creetion". As months pass my son continues to deteriorate. No longer satisfied with the flesh of an animal, I am left with no other option but to kill. He must eat to stay strong and the only thing that he craves is those who remain. He is the only thing I have left in this world and although he may be a monster to others, he is my son. I refuse to give up hope, that one day, I will find the military base where he was born, and find the cure.
