In the beginning, living with epilepsy was a horrifying experience, after brain surgery, it was simply dreadful, and years after it is still quite a pain. There isn’t a day that goes by where we look at our otherwise happy sun with some level of deep disdain. What a beautiful megalith of nature, it’s almost like it enjoys taunting me as my life’s biggest antagonist. You need me to live, I give you life but I blind you. Just like me Mason Bridges collapsed one fateful day and received this diagnosis. He sees what I see, the colors. One glance on a wrong day can cause a rift in vision causing a flood of bright, flashing attacks in the aura of a photosensitive epileptic seizure. The brain is a tricky organ, one little thing out of place can cause horrid consequences. Blessed is me that I am still around to write, the aspiring businessman Mr. Bridges may not find himself as lucky… Truly truly be grateful you don’t see what we do when we view that Bright Dreadful Sun.
