The Transient Realm

Some have gone on to whatever waits for us while others still haunt our present day. The details of those lives are shared in a shadowy profile of disturbing effects. The uncertainty of what is fact and what is fiction is for you as the reader to decipher.Some elements are merely the product of a creative effort. Others are the grim facts of a few piteous souls. As has been said so often, fact is often stranger than fiction. When stepping into this story, the reader should not succumb to a limited “either/or” scenario of fact versus fiction. Instead, please keep an open mind to see where it takes you. For one lost soul, who left his life abruptly and all too soon, there was a relegation to an alternate realm of existence. Accompanied by others who once fought through life, this stranded soul had to find redemption in order to enter into his afterlife. Gone from his mortal world, his spirit must work his way back to the origins of his mistakes in order to find redemption. Along the way, the difficulty of other’s lives overlap serving alternate perspectives of the same story. Their ending is the same but the journey to get there is varied.In the end, redemption into his afterlife stalled until an unexpected soul shed light on the missing element required. It was a journey completed when a troubled youth in life finally found himself in the eternal peace of afterlife. Devoid of religious intent, this story makes a creative attempt at presenting a life after death. Not everyone will believe in an alternate realm but everyone should keep an open mind to the possibility. Afterall, we won’t know until we get there.
