Ryder on the Storm 1

A classic film noir set in a Lovecraftian world, Ryder on the Storm follows Ryder, a private eye hired by the beautiful femme fatale Katrina Petruska to investigate the horrifically bizarre suicide of her lover, Michael Hudson. Ryder's journey to solve the case and finish Hudson's work leads him to discover a truth more sinister and terrifying than he could ever have imagined- daemons walk among us. Now, he must team up with the latest daemon hunter, Charles Monk, to take down the cabal of ancient evil controlling the city while struggling to reconcile the dark side of his own nature.

About the Author

David Hine's career began with British comics Knockabout, 2000AD, Crisis and Deadline. After writing and drawing Strange Embrace for Tundra Publishing and failing to become rich and famous from it, he stalked off in a huff and did commercial illustration for ten years. In 2004 he was tempted back by the offer of writing for Marvel. Since then he has written District X, Daredevil: Redemption, Son of M, Silent War and Spider-Man Noir. He also wrote Spawn for 35 issues, created Poison Candy for TOKYOPOP and has recently worked on a number of titles for DC Comics including The Brave and The Bold.
