She pushed the zombie away from her and heard her mother fall backwards onto the carpeted floor.She jumped over her mother’s body as it tried to grab hold of her legs, and raced to the front door. She looked left into the living room from the hallway and saw a figure in her dads favourite arm chair. The figure slowly got to its feet at the sound of Sandy in the hallway, it was her dear father wearing his best suit, they must have been going out when this all kick off. Sandy threw open the front door just as she heard more sounds coming from upstairs, shit the house was full of them. One last look at her dad in the light from the window, she could see a gaping wound in his neck, and as he raised his hand towards her there were two fingers missing from his hand. She was out of the front door and running down the garden path, and out into the street once more.
