Hard times come easy. Especially when you're trying to make it in the twenty-first century career game. As with the rest of my generation, I faced the same problem. No amount of hard work, overpriced pieces of papers, or money for that fact, could break your way into your dream job. But one fact remained the same. It was all in who you know. That’s when I met Jake. After that, my life changed forever. Jake Wild was a veteran rock star. I was an aspiring music journalist. Kismet, right? Little did I know what else fate had in store for me. Having been hired to write Jake’s biography, my career dreams were bright on the horizon. And if the sky was the limit, I was in heaven. Until one fateful night, I found out something about the infamous musician that nobody knew. And if anyone had known, I was certain they hadn’t lived long enough to tell the tale. But I did. Soon enough, I was on a one-way sight seeing tour through the seven layers of hell guided by the devil himself. Isn't it ironic how the actions of one person could have such a cataclysmic effect on an innocent bystander so many years later? Then push comes to shove, and it becomes a chain reaction. In the end, it proves two things in life are true. Karma’s a bitch, and everything is bound to come around full circle.
