The Bearers (Sexpocalypse Book 1)

What if every horror came true? Sexpocalypse will spin your head like that kid in the Exorcist. It's a nightmare born of a twisted imagination. Sort of a bad trip where everything goes wrong.A ruthless virus, a scorched earth and a constantly shifting landscape of characters each with their own ever mutating powers and terrifying appetites. Think orgy at the infamous Star Wars cantina. K.D. Long writes raunchy, fantasy-driven stories with vampirism, dragons, shifting dimensions and surprises. The dark side of Sexpocalypse will either tantalize or revolt you.Part One: The first things that happened after Hantera16 were hormonal and physical mutations. Some humans remain, only because they control the behavior of the group known as the Bearers. Their small number depended on the brute strength of transformed beings that were no longer human. In spite of their name, the bloodthirsty and lust driven Bearers are manipulated by a patched together system that keeps vital hygiachips manipulating them. It's a delicate balance. Sterility is rampant in humans and Bearers alike. If the Bearers die out because they can't breed, they take the humans with them. Their animal power is vital to the underground bio-systems that keeps the small human population alive.Allowed to mate, the Bearers become dangerous and hostile. But the humans keep risking; experimenting. No baby survives. Not human. Not Bearer. Until. When the system fails, the result is surreal. Those humans no longer controlled by the very same system that kept their own libidos flat find themselves face to face with the ominous creatures once held at arm's length. Hell doesn't need to break loose; it was always there. This is the first part of a three part dystopian fantasy. It ends in a cliffhanger. Written by an independent lunatic, this is an introduction to a maniacal world. There's magic, violence, and lots of utterly bizarre sex.Welcome to the show. Step inside.

About the Author

K.D. Long wakes up every morning and tries to figure out whether or not to shave. It's only on one side, after all.Cursed with a twisted, dark imagination and a burning desire for no company except an obscene mouthed and foul tempered African gray parrot and a one-eyed bearded dragon named Focus, K.D. writes dystopian fiction with a special kind of fever. A sexual one."Imagine a world" is the daily bread of an author who thrives on the uncommon threat, the forgotten fear, and just what happens when nothing and no one is what it seems. Psychologists take note! Here lies a case study in what happens when intelligence goes awry and takes flight into fantasies of unthinkable passions, unlikely transformations, and a world that is, perhaps, just a shot away. There used to be asylums for people like K.D. Now the author is just another wacko who speaks to zephyrs and looks at the stars a lot.
