A rock band who are really werewolves… A roadie who is really a terrorist… And a gun-toting groupie who is really something else. The year is 1974. The rock band known as the Whatsits are jamming their way to the top of the charts, but just when rock and roll stardom seems in reach, things hit a snag when a groupie with lycanthropy uses the lead guitarist for a chew toy and turns him into a werewolf. Soon the whole band is looking a bit fuzzy, and it’s not from the alcohol. Fleas and fangs aren't the band's only new problems, though. Their new roadie is a jihadist packing more C-4 than speakers in his travel bag, and he has wicked designs on their final gig. An Amazonian groupie with a dark past, the leader of a dangerous puritan cult, and a diabolical manager all have their sights on making this the Whatsits’ last waltz. And of course, there’s the whole ‘werewolf’ thing... This far-out freak fest is enough to harsh any band's good vibes, and it might actually do it, too... if the Whatsits ever get sober enough to notice.
