Once again I trekked into the hypnogogic world of the Holographic Universe, to the Realm and to an alternate time line in the year 1986. In our 1986 world, Halley’s Comet was a dud as far as our ability to see it in the sky. Its approach and proximity to earth were different and much farther away than its 1910 presentation. The 1910 our world comet brought with it all kinds of fear including evil harbingers, curses, demons, superstitions and the threat of world extinction from the earth’s atmosphere being hit by the comet’s tail which contained cyanogen gas. In the Realm world of 1986, Halley’s Comet was exceptionally close and brilliantly observable. While the 1910 Realm comet history was essentially the same, the 1986 was muted save for a psychiatric diagnose that developed and was called Halley’s Syndrome.Historically Halley’s Syndrome seemed to have had its origin centuries ago in Polish farm town folklore. Then the people believed that demons lived inside comets. When a comet appeared, the demon took the form of beautiful women and appeared to certain men. Somehow, it invaded the men's bodies by seducing them then transformed them into often times self-righteous murdering monsters. The tendency for this to occur was thought to be linked to certain Polish family lineages. In the Realm 1986, Halley's Syndrome was coined and was broadly defined as an acute psychosis brought on by the presents of the comet. It was thought not to have any cultural basis but rather seemed to affect mentally susceptible patients. In actuality and unknown to the psychiatric community, it was much more than that....there are terrorists on the loose in Malestrom Correctional Facility, vicious ruthless monsters and they must be stopped. IT TAKES A MONSTER TO KILL A MONSTER...
