St. Sagittarius is a collection of poetry that examines the range of emotions that accompany a zealot's departure from deeply ingrained religious values. The journey of replacing those values with new philosophies to form a unique core identity becomes his focus. In abandoning the only beliefs he has known, the zealot's desire to gain stability with a new worldview comes with a foray into darker pursuits and interests. As he travels deeper into that world, his goal remains to achieve mental freedom through efforts to finally place his grievous upbringing behind him. Stars guide the way with an astrological arc.
