A Grim Journey (Beyond the Grim Veil)

A lone woman - the Grim Lady - strikes a dark and sombre tone as she walks slowly across a moor at night. Her features are obscured, not only by her cloak that covers her, but also by a strange, dark and grey mist. It surrounds her and envelops her, staying close with every step that she takes. The ground beneath her feet changes in hue to darkened, greying colours, staying so until she has left its vicinity. Where is this woman going? Why does she have this effect on the earth beneath her feet? What purpose does this mysterious mist hold?Luther, a man in his early thirties, sits in the living room of a mage in the village of Overton. He is explaining the woes and troubles that he experiences concerning his mental health. He wonders why he feels a sadness and despair each day, even though there is no obvious cause. On advice from his friend, he decides to embark on a journey across the Boroughs of Old Briton to a distant town where the one person that may be capable of shedding light on his condition, was last seen. Will he find the person he seeks? Will he get there in one piece? Will they provide him with the answers he hopes may explain why he suffers from such depression?
