The Christmas City Vampire

Cursed by a witch in 1860, the vampire must kill five women in a one month period from Black Friday to Christmas Eve each decade. With the murder of the final victim, the curse will be lifted and the vampire will become human and live a normal life.As that glorious day approaches, the vampire plays with the lives of a detective, Hyram Lasky; Police officers Mike McGinnis, who witnessed the first murder, and his partner Sara Jameison; Letter carrier Brian Miller and his new love Jessie Sterling.After learning that a vampire is responsible for the murder of Jenna Blackman, a media firestorm is launched. Hysteria becomes the norm for every person searching for a creature who mocks them from every corner.On Christmas Eve, the vampire selects the final victim and takes her to the Star of Bethlehem, high above the city, to finally end the curse.The battle of good versus evil ensues.

About the Author

In 2010, Larry began work on The Christmas City Vampire as a National Novel Writing Month project. The object of the project was to write a 50,000 word seat-0f-your pants novel. He was very proud to have this book originally published by Bradley Publsihings and he wishes the owners, Zeb and Jen Bradley the very best in their future endeavors. Larry has written three previous novels; 95 Bravo-published by www.writers-exchange in 2004, Requiem For A Vampire-published by Mundania Press in 2007, and Combat Boots dainty feet-Finding Love in Vietnam, published by www.lulu.com in 2009. He is a Vietnam veteran and is the past president of the Lehigh Northampton Vietnam Veterans Memorial He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2008 after working as a letter carrier for over 21 years. Larry and his wife, Peggy, live in Hellertown, Pa., where he enjoys reading and writing. He has two grown children, Laura and Matthew. Peggy has two adult children, Brent and Sean. In their spare time Larry and Peggy love to travel to the beaches on the East Coast. They have gone on two cruises and in 2003 had a dream trip to England and Scotland. In Scotland, Larry was thrilled to play golf at the St. Andrews complex. Larry would like to thank his wife, Peggy for her total support.
