For weeks Cain has been cooped up with his dog in a cabin. He does copious amounts of drugs and drinks excessively to deal with the pressures of guarding "The Investments" in his tool shed. Regardless of his slowly declining mental health, everything seems to go according to plan until one night he hears noises coming from the dark bedroom at the back of the house.What happens next is so disturbing and malicious that you are assured to feel nauseous for some time after reading this book. It is a guarantee that upon finishing this novel, you will ask yourself: "What the fuck did I just read?".
