About the Author

MATTHEW GILLIES is a Canadian dark fantasy, horror andscience fiction author who began his adventure into literary fiction at anearly age. Since he was a young boy, he's long had a passion for tellingstories. The day his mom brought home an electric typewriter was the dayMatthew knew he wanted to become an author. Like many emerging authors, the journey to publishing hiswork has been a long road. At the age of sixteen, Matthew wrote his firsthorror novel, The Experiment, andpromptly followed up with the science fiction novel, The Pig Factory and the cyberpunk novel Oblivious Paradise. After years of letting his novels sit untouched, he took hisdad's advice about self-publishing and becoming an indie author. Whattranspired from there was the 2014 release of his debut New Adult horror novel,The Electric Coma Dream. Voted one of the ten best horror novels of 2014 byhorrornovelreviews.com, The Electric ComaDream continues to be Matthew's most popular novel, garnering criticalacclaim from fans of his writing.
