The war between the Amazons of Themyscira and Narcissus has escalated to new levels of depravity as Narcissus reveals possession of the "Present-Time Sphere", one of three stones belonging to the Primordial god of Time Chronos. His intention? To use its power to collect the other two Time Spheres then use the combined might of them to defeat the Titan King he believes has betrayed him. It is literally a race against time as Susannah, her two foster sons, and Nikola battle to stop Narcissus from meddling with the sands of time and Nikola comes to grips with his duty as a royal of Themyscira in a matriarchal society and takes upon himself a greater burden than any man has had to wield in centuries.
