Fear The Living: The Beginning: Book 1

As Jamie King was putting his life back together, the world fell apart around him.The first story in the Fear the Living serial. Jamie King is a broken man. After hitting rock bottom, he had finally begun taking steps towards recovery. Life wasn’t sucking as much as it had, at least.Though, after a morning like the one he just had, he wondered if things really were that much better. After being forced to stay late after his overnight shift, he was in a horrible mood already. Especially since he was covered in someone else’s blood. At least he was still breathing, something he was surprised about considering what happened, nearly a year ago…A bitter memory, much like the tequila Jamie used to drown away the thought. Ignoring the news reports regarding riots in Europe, Jamie drank until he was comfortably numb, catching some sleep after his long night shift. When Jamie woke, the world had ended, fallen to the Infected. Watching in horror, Jamie saw everything falling apart as these creatures attacked, spanning across the entire globe. During this, all Jamie could think about was reaching his parents. Will he make it, or will Jamie join the ranks of the undead? This is the first short story in the Fear the Living serial. Future stories will be published soon. If you are interested in reading more in this series, please visit my website for upcoming release dates.
