Drawn to the frozen lands of Morthil, Skelgi, a hunter from the north, is searching for new prey. Hearing tales about blood-thirsty clans of ice giants roaming the Broken Spine Mountains, he sets off across the ocean to test himself against a more formidable foe. Will he be victorious in his hunt, or will he fall to the strength of the creatures he seeks, only to be eaten or left for dead on the ice-covered plains? This is a dark fantasy short story and is approximately 4.1K words. This story contains descriptions of brutality and gore.
