Onomatopoeia; or, The Echoes

Onomatopoeia; or, The Echoes

Over half a million individuals are reported missing to the FBI annually. Approximately two-thirds are under the age of 18. From 1985 until 1993, the heartland of central Iowa was the primary hunting ground for the kidnapping of adolescents and children. The following investigations conducted by local, state, and federal law enforcement personnel failed to recover any of the disappeared. All of the cases remain open to this day. Who executed these heinous crimes? A single individual? A group? A network? Or was it wholly something Other? Onomatopoeia; or, The Echoes, pulls back the veil by shedding new insight into these events. The depth of humanity's darkness is revealed throughout this haunting tale.
