Fourth grader Edward Changeover has moved away from his friends to a new home, a new city, and a new school. He has a new step-dad, and his real dad doesn’t want to spend time with him. To top it off, a pair of bullying brothers begins targeting Edward.Edward hides his hurt behind jokes and list of anger—where he keeps track of the things that make him upset. About the Author

J. C. Rice attended kindergarten in France. He loves dragons, world travel and will, if pressed, admit to liking Hello Kitty.Rice lives in Santa Clara, California, with his wonderful wife and one-year-old daughter. For twenty years Rice has taught third and fourth grade. Early on he began writing and sharing his chapter books with each class. Every year his students beg him to publish them. He finally agreed. To date, Rice is the author of thirteen books and counting. He's written about the dream world, secret agents, superheroes, mad scientists, and, of course, Norwegian werewolves. Rice can't wait to share his stories with his daughter-but not all at once.
