Angels of Pestilence (The Angels Series) (Volume 3)

How can a game have a winner when the rules constantly change?Belial’s three sons are on Earth, and one is creating his own kingdom, a kingdom he feels he is owed. As Nicomedes ages and his powers grow, it’s the rest of mankind who has to worry when the tortured souls are allowed to escape from hell, looking for bodies to host to do his dark bidding. Even Belial is not safe from the clutches of his offspring, who show him no favour. When Aira kills Belial, he goes to heaven and talks with God, trying to find a solution to end this uncontrollable game. God tells Belial of the last scrolls on Earth that could destroy his sons, sending him to find them. God has a plan, but so does the fallen archangel. When Nicomedes infects angels with the darkness of hell, they become his pets as gargoyles, guarding the home he shares with his brother Florian, a horrific cathedral of his making. Once inside, Florian questions his existence and secretly goes against his brother, Nicomedes.Unable to find the scrolls, an angry Belial is attacked, becomes a gargoyle, and is taken to the cathedral, where Nicomedes is infuriated that this has happened. To make things right, Belial snatches his son, taking him to hell and sealing him in as he heads to Earth to find the horsemen. The surviving angels realize that to save the gargoyles, they must kill them, freeing the angels inside. The angel Aira, who has become the new Famine, has had enough and wants to remain on Earth when the game ends, claiming that God has shut His doors to her. She begins her own game, and she is not the only one. Death, War and her friends decide to play alongside her to win on their terms.Amox and Aira talk about not fitting in as angels. Amox begins to despair over his lack of faith. Amox has a choice now to remain the angel he was sent to be or become the new Pestilence and stay with his friends. His choice could change the game.Sometimes, in a game, there can be no winner.

About the Author

Miss Martel was born in Manitoba, Canada, to a mixed heritage of Ojibway and French parents. Her parents moved the family to Ontario when she was eleven and she remains there to this day. In the small town of Cambridge, Ontario, she decided to sit down and write a book when the ideas in her head would not leave her alone. Forty-four hours later, she had the first draft of the first book of her Vampires and Chocolate adult series which is now world-wide in popularity. She has just finished writing the tenth book of that series. Having an interest in the supernatural since she was a young child, she decided to branch out and write about heaven and hell in a way that hasn't really been addressed before. Throwing angels, demons, and the Horsemen of the Apocalypse into a game where there are no rules promises to be another sweeping series for Miss Martel. She is also the author of the YA series, The Morgan Heart Chronicles. Feel free to contact her. She has made many new friends by her devoted fans contacting her, and some have even gotten to be a character in her books. [email protected] Twitter - kmartelbooks Facebook - KarinnMartelBooks
