A priest, closing up his chapel for the night, is waylaid by a man confessing to be a murderer. The man's grip on reality seems far from firm, and the priest faces a startling dilemma. Does he investigate it further on his own? Or does he take the story to the authorities? A crew of fisherman receive a mysterious distress call, many miles from shore, and venture into the foggy waters in search of a sinking ship. Instead, they find an uncharted rocky island, covered in strange runes and disturbing carvings... A family from the big city rents a camp in the north woods for a couple of weeks.
