The Chaos Gemstone Chronicles: Malfeld's Return

In the distant part of the cosmos lies the world of Lorin. Its occupants range from humans, spanning across the face of the various lands, to monsters that live alongside them, hidden from their sight. Magic is power and that power is kept from all of mankind. Long ago the Demon Lord Malfeld lost the source of his power, the Chaos Gemstone, which was split into seven fragments. Now signs of its reappearance emerge. This adventure follows a young man named Maximus. One night a phone call unexpectedly changes everything he sees about his world as he knows it. He later is reunited with a few old friends and soon begins to make new comrades along the way. After being reunited he is told that someone is trying to revive an ancient evil that is nearly as old as time itself. This entity is known as Malfeld, the Original Demon Lord. He begins his adventure with joining a society of magic users that belongs to The Order of Mages. They are mages who have taken the oath of protecting mankind from forces beyond their capabilities and to seek out knowledge wherever they find it.He is grilled day and night in learning magic and one night is called to a pair of Angelic Gauntlets. He discovers that they once belonged to the Archangel of Justice Zadkiel. The Angelic Council, Zadkiel included, allows him to possess the Gauntlets in order to fight against evil within his world. After he quickly finishes his rigorous training, Maximus eventually joins the newly formed Paranormal and Supernatural Division of the Metra Police Department. He begins to solve various cases that deal with the supernatural.During his tenure as a supernatural detective he and company begin to find small clues that will lead to the finding of the seven fragments of the Chaos Gemstone. With these seven ancient relics that when put together with the right ritual can summon the Original Demon Lord, Malfeld. Horrible atrocities are committed along the journey by those who serve Malfeld. Maximus deals out punishment to these servants as well as any supernatural creatures who wrongfully committed harm to others. Can Maximus find all the pieces and stop this ancient evil from being revived or will he be too late as the dark shadow of Malfeld eclipses Lorin’s light.
