BRUCE P. GRETHER lives in the Hill Country of Texas with his beloved partner. He grew up overseas in Thailand, where the traditional Spirit World fascinated him from an early age. He lived in Berkeley, California, off and on during the 1960s, then he lived at Elkhorn Lodge in Estes Park, Colorado, during much of the 1980s, when the dark seeds of this story were planted.
