Waking Sky

Skylar Carey’s time is running out. The gap year her brother gave her is coming to an end and she needs to decide on her future. Everyone around her seems to have it all figured out. And with a best friend who’s psychic, you think it’d be a lot easier. After all, being gifted has its perks. Unfortunately for her, having the ability to move things with your mind isn’t exactly college application material. As if she doesn’t have enough to stress about, the arrival of her brother’s mysterious new friend has her on edge. Sure, Adam’s nice, with swoon worthy dimples and the ability to time travel. But Skylar’s convinced he’s also carrying secrets, and it’ll take a lot more than the approval of her brother with a penchant for reading emotions to earn her trust. But when people start disappearing and danger presents itself close to home, coming together over what sets them apart might be their only chance at protecting each other – and the world. Because the closer they get to answers, the closer danger lurks towards all of them. And some secrets just may kill…
