Hunt the Fat White Vampire

Portly vampire Jules Duchon is in a whole heap of hot water with the leaders of the High Krewe of Vlad Tepes — the fearsome Triumvirate have learned that Jules brought his vampire wife Maureen back to the land of the undead using body parts stolen from three High Krewe women. Seeking revenge and a restoration of their lost honor, the Triumvirate hire a deadly Japanese super-hero assassin, Hiro Mitsuba, the Matter Master, to rub out Jules, his family, and his friends! What can a 400-pound vampire with bad knees do against a pursuer who can control every form of matter, a killer who can turn anything he touches into a weapon?

About the Author

ANDREW Fox has been a fan of science fiction and horror since he saw Destroy All Monsters at the drive-in theater at the age of three. His books include Fat White Vampire Blues, winner of the Ruthven Award for Best Vampire Fiction of 2003; Bride of the Fat White Vampire; Fat White Vampire Otaku; Fire on Iron, a Civil War dark fantasy; contemporary epic fantasy The Bad Luck Spirits' Social Aid and Pleasure Club; and The Good Humor Man, or, Calorie 3501, selected by Booklist as one of the Ten Best SF/Fantasy Novels of the Year for 2009. In 2006, he won the Moment Magazine-Karma Foundation Short Fiction Award. His stories have appeared in Scifi.com and Nightmare.com, and his essays have been published in Moment and Tablet Magazine. Companion volumes Hazardous Imaginings, a collection of his politically incor-rect science fiction, and Again, Hazardous Imaginings: More Politically Incorrect Science Fiction, an international anthology which he edited, were published together in 2020.
