Josh Perry needs to have the best of everything in life. The best clothes, the best grades and the most popular friends are all objects of his desire. Josh’s latest obsession is the golden boy of Keeler’s Lake, Matthew O’Connor. Still, his desire for Matthew’s friendship reveals to him deeper feelings he didn’t know he had. Soon, he discovers that his true desire could be love. Ironically, this latest shock in his life overshadows the recent murders taking place at the mysterious waterfall on Cyder’s Hill. Josh is not sure how everything fits together, but he assumes the mysterious Shadowy Figure that follows him around town is either tied into the murders or is one of the many homophobic teenagers whom he has to deal with. Matthew has changed Josh’s life considerably, but could he be the figure, setting Josh up for a horror he’ll never forget?
