Deadspawn: The Coming

Zarux has returned. The dead are walking. All of the known realms are in peril. Centuries ago, all of the realms were one. But now, they are fragmented and there is naught but animosity between them. Their sundering had led to new civilisations and cultures; untamed magics have spawned never before seen beasts and have led to the creation of a whole new dimension of warfare. Bold lords and ladies, cantankerous vagabonds, evil tricksters, loyal warriors and run-of-the-mill peasants alike cast aside their abhorrence for their rivals to face a common foe.Valens the blacksmith finds himself a key figure in the defence of the realm when the deadspawn destroy his village. Refugees flee to the castle of the lord of the land for protection, where they settle in makeshift shelters below the walls. Unhappy with their lot, some refugees try to undermine the authority of the lord, whilst others oppose the dissenters. The tales of bold warriors and daring common folk intertwine as they attempt to summon help from the hostile surrounding realms to defeat the foe from hell.
