About the Author

The Voices of the Heart is Ms. McGhie's second novel. She left the corporate world four years ago, becoming a contractor in the areas of public relations/marketing, project management, fund development, and event/meeting planning. For over 20 years, Brenda has been an active volunteer for not-for-profit agencies while living in Chicago and Minnesota. Ms. McGhie currently resides in Chicago, Illinois. Brenda's family circle consists of her loving daughter, Valisa and Brenda's sister, Diana.
