A down-on-his-luck film director discovers a mysterious script that he believes will take him back to the top of his profession once more. He and his famous actress fiancé embark on a terrifying journey into a darkness of evil that neither can begin to comprehend. This homage to the great age of Hollywood’s American Gothic takes its characters from the ‘roaring 1920’s’ to the cynical 2000’s in a cultural and historical dialectic that contains both the horrors of the past and the fears for the future.
