About the Author

Having graduated from Otis College of Art and Design and Whittier College, Oklahoma native Nick Hermes did work in a variety of art fields before devoting himself to oil painting. His work often combines comic themes with traditional techniques. After 12 years with Joe Wade Fine Art in Santa Fe, Nick splits his time between painting, spending time with his wife and family, and writing/drawing the comic book The Black-Jack Demon.
