Lucifer Gander does not want to be Earth’s devil for the Heavenly Gods’ Planet Project. He tries to have a normal life, but even before his assignment begins, it is hell. He is abused by a vindictive father, betrayed by an unfaithful wife, tortured by a supposed mentor, and abandoned by a close friend. After accepting destiny and embracing his role, Lucifer gets drawn into the battle between Good and Evil. The most powerful of the Gods are playing games with the ones they are supposed to be benevolently ruling. Less powerful beings are manipulated, some turned into weapons. The highest of the Heavenly Gods, Rex, has become corrupt and needs to be deposed, but none have the power to do it. The weapon Rex created, a powerful being named Marshall, may be the key to the dethronement.
