With his young wife dying of an incurable illness, Dr. Steve Stanley enlists an unlikely team of misfits and daring professionals to engage in a risky medical experiment designed to save her life. One at a time, each volunteer is taken to The White Light―a place between life and death where one may consult a Higher Power―and then fully restored in order to impart the knowledge he or she has gained.
