RULES of FOG is a complex short story that is designed to freak you out, and it is a spinoff from my 11-book Instinct Series of novels. The story features Killer Instinct's main character, Dr. Jessica Coran, FBI agent and medical examiner who works for the Behavioral Science Division (think Criminal Minds) and who profiles serial killers. In Rules of Fog, Jessica faces her most supernatural case, a paranormal theme running through the fog surrounding Arlington National Cemetery.The History Lesson is a West Virginia coal miner's ghost story, pure and simple. It is also flash fiction coming in less than 500 words. Frankly, it is also based on an incident in my classroom one day.Enjoy the fun you find in each story.
