Robert Louis Stevenson was a Scottish essayist, poet, novelist, and travel writer. His most famous works are Kidnapped, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and Treasure Island. In this psychological novel a war was waged between good and evil within a human personality. A London doctor discovers a drug, which can split a person's personality and physical appearance into two distinct parts - good and evil. This kindly physician commits diabolical crimes when his suppressed personality is released.
