Ghostly Skills (The Ghost Girl Trilogy Book 2)

Is Jude Scariotti the devil himself, one of the devil’s minions, or a misunderstood good guy? Sarabeth Morgan was sure he was one of the first two, especially after he got off scot-free for an attempted bank robbery. But something he inadvertently revealed to her is making her consider he might be the last and most unlikely of the choices. She’s not buying his story outright; he fooled her once, and she doesn’t want that to happen again. When Jude tells Sarabeth he cannot complete his newest assignment without an ability she possesses as a lingerer, she wants to refuse him any help. In that case, Jude could approach lingerer Laura Peterson, Simon's sister, who would help Jude without a second thought. But if Jude was pulling another scam, Laura helping him might negate any chance she would have of transitioning from a lingerer to whatever was next. Sarabeth wants to scam the scammer by letting him believe she’ll help him while setting a trap that will cause the blame for whatever goes down to fall directly on Jude’s shoulders. Jude claims his actions will help maintain peace in the Middle East but Sarabeth believes it will only serve to line his pockets. But if she’s wrong, a hot zone could catch on fire. Ghostly Skills is Book 2 of The Ghost Girl Trilogy, and picks up shortly after Book 1, Lingering, ends. The complete series is: Lingering, Book 1 Ghostly Skills, Book 2 Transformation, Book 3
