The Dezo family is cursed by unnatural deaths- the grandfather electrocutes himself on his tub, followed by his son who burns himself alive and his son who turns eighteen slits his wrists on the bed. In a motor garage, a supervisor is butchered inhumanly. Amidst these horrendous events, Kara is back from his college- a broken young man, hopeless, depressed and, jobless. To escape his demons, he joins as a part-time hostel warden in Greenwood School where he stumbles into an unworldly entity thirsting for the soul of a young kid. Kara speculates the connection between the horrific events in his town to the danger upon the kid in his watch and, as the events unfold he discovers powers that he never imagined he had.
