Tenebrarum Tempore

Tenebrarum Tempore (the title is Latin for "dark season") is a collection of four chilling tales from author Leigh McQueen: A family fights to survive a terrifying summer in "The Longest Season;” a next door neighbor has an unusual relationship with his plants in "Sapp's Green Thumb;” a woman's search for specific "souvenirs" is vital to her survival in "Imps;” and a woman is kidnapped and held prisoner in a basement by man who is being forced to do it in "The Escape.” The stories are divided with dark poetry designed to set the mood. **Warning: This book contains some graphic content.

About the Author

Leigh McQueen, a writer of dark fantasy and horror, resides in beautiful north Mississippi with her poet husband and two extremely vocal dogs. She, her husband, and the saucy dogs have regular howling sessions. She is convinced that the land on which she lives is haunted and she uses that as inspiration to weave her weird tales. Under her "real" name, Leigh has been an award winning newspaper reporter and columnist and is a published author of fiction and poetry, having been a Rhysling award nominee and a James Baker award nominee. She is also the editor of a paranormal romance magazine - Trysts of Fate (Alban Lake Publishing). Leigh is exploring her capacity for horror/dark fiction and the Fog Bank trilogy her online premier. It is Leigh's hope that she will develop a horror/dark fantasy career all her own and very different from that of her alter ego.
