About the Author

Jimmy Beard was born in Charleston S.C., the son of a construction worker. His family traveled the Southeast so that his father could follow his work. Often when there was no job, they would live in his grandmothers farm house in Bamberg County. This was always one of his favorite places because of the climate and the good natured Lowcountry people. He chose to base "Jamey Hart Adventures" in this setting.
