In this one set in September 1915, the girls are on a pre-school break when they make an auto tour from Cleveland to Chicago and back via Toledo, Cincinnati, and Dayton, among other towns. From the website The Ohioana, they "Hildegarde Gertrude Frey (1891-1957), was a lifelong resident of Cleveland. She created ten Camp Fire Girls novels when she was between the ages of twenty-four and twenty-eight."
