About the Author

Miles Watson was born in Evanston, Illinois. The son of aprominent Chicago journalist, he took an early interest in writing andpublished his first short story at 17. He is the author of the critically-acclaimed and award-winning CAGE LIFE series, which won Book of the Year (2016) and the Best Indie Book Award (2018); its sequel, KNUCKLE DOWN, which was an Honorable Mention in the Writer's Digest Awards and won the BEst Indie Book Award for Suspense in 2019; SINNER'S CROSS, which won the Best Indie Book Award for Historical Fiction in 2019 and the Book Excellence Award in 2020 for Action; and his novellas THE NUMBERS GAME (2019) and NOSFERATU (2020), each of which won the Pinnacle Book Achievement Award. DEVILS YOU KNOW, his first short story collection, has been named a Finalist in the Eric Hoffer Book Awards (2019).
