When the past comes back to haunt us... literally! "Before Owen, my hours were filled with music, sex and food." So says Alice, who lives a self-indulgent life with her lover, Liam, in Shakespeare's old town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Then without warning a boy turns up on their doorstep and announces that he is Liam's son, Owen. Alice struggles with this intrusion into their life and home, finding Owen a difficult and creepy child. Soon terrible long-forgotten memories of her own childhood start to stir. When Alice starts seeing her long dead mother, she learns that nothing is what it seems, and that danger can come from the most shocking of places - from those you thought were dead and buried.
