For the past thirty days Shelly Oldman has been living with the heart wrenching news that her husband, Jake, was killed in action while in Iraq. The grief, guilt, and sorrow have been emotionally jarring enough, but when an entity disguised as Jake begins haunting her nightmares the physical injuries that are evident on her body begin to crack whatever mental stability she has left. A local police officer, Keith Granger, wanting to be the hero develops an unhealthy obsession to help Shelly but his own ghosts threaten his plan and possibly his life. Many of the people connected to Shelly and Keith find themselves thrown into their own psychological and horrifying hells without understanding why or how to get out. Shelly must find a way to beat sorrow before it’s too late to save her and the memory of Jake. Keith must find a way to help Shelly before it’s too late to save them both. Sorrow must find a way to get them all.
