With Toronto in the rearview, a new year emerged out of the ashes of adversity, creating a platform of opportunities for the Blue Coven to learn and grow from while they ushered in a new era. And since the untimely deaths of Thomas and Vivienne, the coven must seek two new members to fill the void. At that time, they can be whole again, a complete twelve, ever pursuing that high, which promised youth, beauty, strength, and power.Derek felt strongly that this year was a chance for change, a rebirth of sorts. And things looked promising now that they had another key to add to their ritual, which would, in turn, help them attain even more power and abilities. However, what those powers were was still a mystery, but one thing they did know: from here on out, the world they knew would never be the same.Nonetheless, despite their chance for evolution, one thing stood in the way…the group’s disunity. Just the upheaval within would be a significant hurdle to get over. At this point, they needed to discard the error of their ways so their evolution could commence without further conflict. Unfortunately, that looked very unlikely because even Derek had added to the struggle by saving Alexis’ life––that in itself could potentially unravel everything he had worked so hard for. No doubt there would be a hefty price to pay for his misdeeds. But he could not turn back now; he would have to find a way to hide Alexis and reign in the disarray before it affected his position in the Coven. This was a game they all played, but few controlled, a dangerous game about to be continued.
