Dillon and Jenny are living their best life. A retired Forest Ranger and Vietnam Veteran Dillon left the horrors of the war and the secrets of the jungle behind him to fight his way home. They've been there ever since, tucked into the West Virginia Mountains as far from people as they can get. Now that the children are all gone, with children of their own he and Jenny have settled into their golden years with the woods and the wild things. Try as he might the nightmares never died, but he refuses to visit his demons on his precious Jenny, until one day they come calling, destroying their idealistic existence. What seemed like a long ago dream walks from the forest to call him to a destiny he could never imagine. It will cost him his home, his peace and maybe even Jenny if he goes, but the cost if he doesn't is setting those demon's lose on an unsuspecting population who have no idea what true monsters really are or where they come from.
