The House of Shangri-La

Now, three days after they buried their widowed mother, three brothers, and their sister received an invitation by mail to a lawyer’s office to have a document read to them. It stated that they were inheriting a servant maintained mansion left to them by an unknown ancestor. Eager to witness, the three brothers, and their sister along with their friends embarked on this journey to see the mansion. They never knew that their deceased mother was the Princess of Hell who escaped death from an uprising that overthrew her father Satan, locking him away. Her passage to freedom came through this mystical House of Shangri-La: a gateway between both worlds. However, once breathing the air of earth their mother became human, then fell in love with a human man, their father and married him over 50 years ago. Unbeknown to the four once entering the house the rebels who had captured Satan over 1000 years hell time would be able to insure their reign by eliminating Satan’s bloodline, thinking they could have inherited some of their mother’s power, even though their mother became human and then gave birth to them.

About the Author

Deno Sandz was born in the Alabama, but raised and resides in Chicago, Illinois; an U.S. Army Veteran, and has been a fiction author for the last seventeen years. He has published novels such as: "Miss Mary Weather: A Southern Nightmare" (2000), "Pen of Iniquity" (2008), "I,AM" (2010), "Blood Plantation" (2011), "Cry Heaven Cry Hell...The Return of Miss Mary Weather(Sequel)"(2013), and "Icabob Shaw" (2014) and has numerous unpublished novels in the works. He has written phenomenal articles on every aspect of society. Short stories that transcends the heart, soul, and mind of the reader i.e., his story; "Awakened" that has been taught in the Oakland School District for the last five years and his other short stories are published in the pages of magazines across the country. His poetry/prose convokes emotions and reasoning, and his comedy/drama movie screenplays are phenomenally, written. He is also the creator of Deno Sandz Productions/Six Shortyes Films.
