Blare was under the impression that becoming the chief of police in a small town would be uneventful, he was wrong. When Father McClary called him for help with a suspect Blare thought it would be cut and dry: arrest the perp, put him in a cell, and be home in time to watch the game. He had no idea the perp would be possessed by evil spirits and instead of a cell, he would have to be locked in a cave, that is until the suspect and the spirits escape.
