About the Author

Jw Ellis (1985- ) is a native of the rolling hills and moody weather conditions of East Texas. In the midst of a large and slightly dysfunctional family, Jw found her love of writing and reading at a young age. Books gave her the capability to disappear into the written worlds of her favorite authors: Edgar Allen Poe, Emily Bronte and Bram Stoker. The dark, stormy nights, creepy castles, monsters lurking in the dark and villains who were the real heroes to her were more comforting than sunshine, happily ever afters and rainbows. Finally tired of trying to conform to what was rational, she set out to begin giving her thoughts, dreams and ideas their own reality; finally quieting the array of voices bouncing around in her head. Between writing hours, you can find her reading a book, playing with her daughter, riding, driving or walking the backroads of her hometown, or spending time with that more than slightly dysfunctional family she adores. Unless its stormy, then she is outside dancing in the rain, or enjoying the night
