“Have you ever heard the story of The Wakers?”They are dark beings, made from shadow and heartless evil, far from human. They exist in the time between dreams and nightmares, that perfect moment when you round the corner in your bad dream and instead of seeing the light at the end of the tunnel there is only deeper blackness. They move through the shadows—fingers like claws licking at the corners of the room. They have no eyes, no faces, only long jagged mouths that stretch the entire length of their head with rows of razor sharp teeth. They haunt your worst nightmares, waiting for their moment to strike. Once they do, once they decide that it’s your time to join them, they don’t let go until they’re through. They want to see you and all those around you suffer. They burrow themselves deep in your mind and make you see things that aren’t there, make you believe things that aren’t true. And then they take you with them to their shadowy home where you join all the lost souls of all their past victims, doomed forever to walk with them along the lines of dream and nightmare and to witness as they take others to join your fate, unable to do anything to stop it….
